Corporate Reporting Dialogue Roundtable Focus Groups

Join a focus group in Frankfurt, Paris or London to have your say towards better alignment and to drive more effective corporate reporting.

As part of the Corporate Reporting Dialogue Better Alignment Project we are hosting roundtables across Europe. The roundtables will focus on identifying current confusion and barriers to effective reporting on climate, with respect to the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures. In addition, participants will discuss opportunities for better alignment in wider ESG reporting and share insights on how to best integrate financial and non-financial reporting going forwards.

The roundtables cater to those who are already familiar with ESG reporting.

We invite and welcome individuals from the following stakeholder groups to register and participate at a roundtable across Europe:

  • Report Preparers;
  • Report Users;
  • Legislators, regulators and policy-makers; and
  • Other users of corporate reports.

About the Corporate Reporting Dialogue:

The Corporate Reporting Dialogue is an initiative, convened in June 2014 by the International Integrated Reporting Council, designed to respond to market calls for greater coherence, consistency and comparability between corporate reporting frameworks, standards and related requirements.

Participants of the Corporate Reporting Dialogue Better Alignment Project include CDP, CDSB, GRI, IIRC and SASB. We are holding events around the world in April and May 2019 to solicit feedback regarding the better alignment of global environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting standards, as well as identifying how non-financial outcomes relate to financial outcomes. A six-week comment period will also run online from 20 March - 30 April 2019.

Your participation will advance the Better Alignment Project by helping the Corporate Reporting Dialogue to better understand its stakeholders’ observations, experience and concerns, particularly with respect to the implementation and use of sustainability reporting standards and how to advance the integration of reporting.
