On 31st January 2022, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) was consolidated into the IFRS Foundation to support the work of the newly established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). While this site and its resources remain relevant for preparers looking to improve sustainability disclosure until such time as the ISSB issues its IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards on such topics, no further work or guidance will be produced or published by CDSB. New initiative showcases companies committing to disclose climate-related financial risks

Today CDSB is announcing the launch of a new initiative: a commitment for companies to implement the G20 Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures’s (TCFD) recommendations. This commitment will showcase forward-thinking businesses looking to report the financial risks and opportunities that climate change creates in order to align their disclosures with investors’ needs.

Mandatory climate disclosure schemes in the G20: where are we at?
