On 31st January 2022, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) was consolidated into the IFRS Foundation to support the work of the newly established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). While this site and its resources remain relevant for preparers looking to improve sustainability disclosure until such time as the ISSB issues its IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards on such topics, no further work or guidance will be produced or published by CDSB. Webinar: A Practical Guide to Climate Disclosures

Hosted by C2ES, this webinar focuses on frameworks developed by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) to facilitate the implementation of TCFD recommendations.

Launched in 2017 the TCFD recommendations are aimed at all financial and non-financial organisations with public debt or equity. Structured around four key themes; governance, strategy, risk management and metrics and targets, the TCFD brings greater transparency to reporting by helping companies disclose the financial impacts of climate-related risks and opportunities on their company.

More than 500 public and private sector organisations have already indicated their support for the recommendations. However, there is still work to do to and we need to see greater market adoption to make climate-related financial disclosure mainstream.

Hosted by C2ES, this webinar will present leading industry frameworks developed by SASB and CDSB, outlining a practical guide for effective disclosure in line with the TCFD recommendations.
