On 31st January 2022, the Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) was consolidated into the IFRS Foundation to support the work of the newly established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). While this site and its resources remain relevant for preparers looking to improve sustainability disclosure until such time as the ISSB issues its IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards on such topics, no further work or guidance will be produced or published by CDSB. United Nations Conference on Trade and Development

CDSB’s Executive Director is today speaking at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development’s 28th session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR). Lois Guthrie’s presentation will focus on CDSB’s flagship research reviewing climate change-related disclosure across the G20 countries. An outline of CDSB’s consistency in climate change  disclosures research will be presented by UNCTAD along with an overview of the current state of developments to promote the integration of non financial and financial information in corporate reporting. This work forms an integral component of CDSB’s strategy to achieve harmonization of climate change-related disclosure across the world.  Lois will speak alongside expert representatives and partners in this project; the Global Reporting Initiative, the OECD and UNCTAD.
